Our Wood Shop Craftspersons work in themed storefront
wood shops, creating beautiful hand-crafted/hand-painted wood signs, plaques
and other personalized woodcrafts. As a Wood Shop Craftsperson for Kaman's
Art Shoppes you will:
- Learn our Hand and Power Tool Techniques for artistic sign making, including routing, scroll
sawing and other special detailing tools!
- Develop free-hand painting and finishing techniques to create beautiful made-to-order Woodcrafts!
- Build important skills in Customer Service, Craftsmanship and Salesmanship by interacting
directly with customers in your shop.
- Enhance your Woodcraft Sales by offering custom designs, sizes, finishes and additional enhancements!
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Artistic skills are helpful, but not necessary for
this position.
- Training is provided for qualified applicants!
- Must be outgoing, energetic and willing to learn exciting new skills!
- Must be dependable and available for flexible work schedules, including some evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to work mostly outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
